Avocados

Hass Avocados

The Hass avocado is the most common variety grown in Australia accounting for around 80 per cent of avocados available.

Reed Avocados

The Reed Avocado is large and round, with a thick and pebbly skin, and is known for rich tasting flavour.

Wurtz Avocados

A moderate cropper of medium-sized rich, high-quality fruit. The fruit is pear-shaped with dark green skin.

Fuerte Avocados

The Fuerte avocado is pear-shaped with a thin, smooth skin and is the second most popular variety of avocado in the world.

Bacon Avocados

The Bacon Avocado is oval in shape and has a smooth and thin skin. This variety is less oily than the Hass but just as delicious.

Edranol Avocados

The Edranol is a pear-shaped fruit, medium in size with thin, rough, green skin. The pit is small and the flesh is rich in taste.
