Midknight Valencia Orange
Midknight Valencia Orange
Season: March to July
The Midknight fruit is round in shape and large in size with an attractive smooth rind texture. Internally the fruit is virtually seedless and can be difficult to peel.
This variety is a slower growing fruit than other Valencia and shows marked bud union incompatibility on rough lemon.
This tree bears similar yields to Valencias of the same size (not age). At first sight does not appear to carry a good crop but this is the result of the large fruit size.
The tree is moderately vigorous and upright-growing, with large broad leaves.
